This is a Public Service Announcement to WARN you about an email Phishing Scam that is running rampant through our Post.  Our Commander, Patrick Fox, IS NOT in need of your help as advertised in the message below!  Note that the email address is NOT either of the addresses that he uses and is not in any way associated with Post 290.  If you receive this message - or one similar to it - IGNORE it, DELETE it, BUT DO NOT RESPOND TO IT!  The follow-on email that you will receive will solicit an amount of money ($500) for gift cards and the hackers will take your money and run.  He, nor any other member of the Post, will never solicit for support via email - any such discussions, if warranted, would be in person or over the phone.  At least one member has already been ripped off to the tune of $500 - Don't fall for the scam!

Fredericksburg VA clinic will move to a new location beginning June 21

The Veterans Affairs Fredericksburg Community-Based Outpatient Clinic located at 130 Executive Center Parkway in Fredericksburg will soon move to a new, larger location at 4830 Southpoint Drive in Fredericksburg. All services at the current facility will transfer to the new location on Monday, June 21 – the last day services will be offered at the current location is Friday, June 18.

The new clinic will be named the Spotsylvania County VA Clinic in the Massaponax area of Fredericksburg. The new clinic location is roughly 1.5 miles south of the second Fredericksburg VA Clinic location at 10401 Spotsylvania Ave.

The move will not reduce available Veteran health care services and will increase accessibility for Fredericksburg Veterans.
